The Chair of the Feminist Studies department is your typical far left feminist that you find nowhere else besides a college campus. On her faculty site, she describes her coming of age during the social revolutions of the 60’s and 70’s. Judging by her affinity towards the liberal movements of that time, she appears to be a real founding father of liberal bias on campus. (non gender neutral language, she’ll love that). However, are there real academic merits to her work? Let’s just say her first book was on the “arts and crafts movement” of the 20th Century. She even manages to teach a class at the Center for Working-Class Studies at Youngstown State. A feminist and a socialist? Double whammy.
