DePaul Professor arrested at union protest along with graduate student and two staff members.

*See updated correction regarding arrests*

Two hundred hospitality workers and community activists joined together in a protest at the Park Hyatt Hotel on Chicago's Michigan Avenue Thursday, September 24th. The protest came in light of a recent layoff of 100 workers by Hyatt Hotels in Boston. Of the protesters arrested, four were members of the DePaul community, including Professor Win Curran.

Marx Madness kicks off at DePaul

Day two of classes at DePaul, and the campus is already cheering on the home team, Marxism! This evening there were people outside the DePaul Student Center selling socialist newspapers. The weird part about it was they weren't students in the socialist club on campus. They were two graying older men.

Loser

Since they weren't students trying to get out a message, how do you figure they see a college campus as the perfect target market?

The lesson we can learn here is simple: kids, if you're a Marxist, you can hand out papers on a college campus when you grow up!

Well here is the response that caused our blood to boil, then caused us to scratch our heads.

About Marx Madness

Marx Madness

CampusLIE is proud to bring you Marx Madness. Actually, we're not bringing you Marx Madness, the universities are. We just expose it. One of the leading forms of indoctrination occurring on campuses is the professors' attempts to convince students that the poorly groomed German philosopher holds all the answers, especially with economic systems.

Now, you will be able to access all of our findings of bias towards communism, socialism, Marxism, and every other variant of these ideas here at Marx Madness on campuslie.org.

...because it's harder to find positive mention of capitalism in a college classroom than it is on this Marx Madness bracket.
